Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and/or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong PLC programming and debugging skills
  • Experience designing pneumatic, hydraulic, water, and electrical circuits using AutoCAD
  • Solid understanding of industrial communication networks and control systems
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
  • This position requires flexibility to report to multiple Paslin sites.
  • During an installation project this role will require overnight travel to customer sites for periods of up to 12 days at a time over a period of multiple consecutive months.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to sites in USA, Canada and Mexico.
  • Regularly works on-site at local Paslin location, either Hoover, 10-Mile or Cherry Creek.
  • Must be flexible to work at any of these three locations as needed for an extended period of time.
  • Typical work schedule for this role is 6am-230pm, Monday to Friday.
  • During critical phases of the project, work hours may flex up to more than 12 hours per day.
  • This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.
  • The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist.
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.
  • Will use hands and vision to operate power and manual tools and HMI interfaces.
  • This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • You ll design and debug PLC programs using Rockwell or Siemens software
  • Create electrical and fluid circuit diagrams
  • Ensure systems meet customer specs and safety standards
  • Collaborate with robot programmers, troubleshoot issues, and support installations at customer sites
