This role supports the full project lifecycle—from requirements and quoting through system build, testing, installation, and field support. Success requires strong programming skills, hands-on system integration experience, and the ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams. Requirements

  • Strong PLC, robotics, and motion programming background.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical; SolidWorks exposure preferred.
  • Understanding of motors, sensors, industrial networks, and system integration.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communicator with customers and team members.
  • Decisive, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of engineering design experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and programs PLC, motion control, robotics, and peripheral systems.
  • Develops specifications from customer requirements and project scope.
  • Creates and reviews electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system models .
  • Supports quoting with accurate technical input and cost estimates.
  • Leads system debug, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance.
  • Ensures compliance with electrical, performance, and safety standards.
  • Maintains documentation to include BOMs, wiring diagrams, manuals, and specs.
  • Provides engineering support during fabrication, assembly, and field service.
  • Remains current on controls, industrial communication, and robotics technologies.
