About The Position

Duties & Responsibilities: Designing and integrating complete automated production cells, including robotics, vision systems, part feeders, HMIs, PCs, PLCs, and related components. Developing, programming, and troubleshooting robust control software for automated machines and manufacturing cells. Driving continuous improvement efforts on existing equipment, including control upgrades, panel redesigns or rewiring, and integration of new technologies. Creating new electrical schematics and maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation of existing designs. Contributing to functional specifications for new equipment and partnering with manufacturing engineers and equipment vendors on best practices and component selection. Providing technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to ensure knowledge transfer and system sustainability. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts clearly and effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering-related discipline. Minimum of three years of experience in controls engineering, automation programming, and integration of automated manufacturing systems. High level of proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLC-based and PC-based machine control systems. Strong experience implementing and programming HMIs, motion control systems, industrial robotics, and machine vision systems. Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging automation technologies and lead their first-time integration into equipment builds. Solid understanding of electrical design principles and the ability to create and interpret electrical schematics.

Requirements
