In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures specific to the country or region, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations. You will report directly to our Senior Manager, Controllership and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations
  • Drive the financial close processes at the country level, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures specific to the country or region, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making at the country level
  • Manage and develop a team of controllership professionals, providing mentorship and support for their professional growth
