The Zoetis Controllership Intern will focus on assisting the Global Controllers department with various projects in support of External Reporting and Consolidations, Technical Accounting, Environmental Social Governance (ESG), and Integration/Divestiture activities. This internship will be a great opportunity to learn more about multiple areas of controllership and apply accounting coursework to real life situations. The intern will also have the opportunity to learn about the broader finance function of a public company.

Requirements

  • Sophomore or Junior in college (pursuing accounting degree)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Detail oriented, excellent analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products required

Responsibilities

  • Support External reporting and Consolidations with activities related to our external SEC filings
  • Support Technical accounting with research related activities, quarterly conclusion memos, intangible asset impairment testing, and accounting policy database management
  • Support ESG Controller with current initiatives underway including Company readiness for the implementation of the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and managing controls program
  • Support Integration/Divestiture activities
  • Assist with documenting and mapping various corporate processes
  • Assist with the preparation of the Controllers quarterly newsletter
