About The Position

We are a busy, growing mid-sized law firm in Downtown Dadeland looking for a full-time Controller to join our administrative team. This person will be on-site and work closely with our three shareholders and the director of operations to drive financial planning, budgeting, and data analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
8+ years of law firm experience
Solid understanding of finance and data analysis
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good organizational and time-management skills
An aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving

Responsibilities

Lead annual budgeting process, monitor performance against budgets, and develop financial forecasts to guide planning
Analyze financial data and identify trends with measurable goals, and track performance of attorneys, clients, and areas of practice
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including cost control
Handle payroll and related tasks
Analyze and prepare financial reports and statements
Create and/or update internal accounting processes
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality
