This individual will serve as a key leader within the organizationproviding strategic financial insight while remaining hands-on with day-to-day accounting management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, evolving business environment.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong technical accounting skills with experience in the construction industry
Proven ability to manage financial reporting, forecasting, and month-end close
Experience implementing and maintaining internal controls
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on and collaborative working style
Inventory management experience
Flexible and adaptable mindset

Nice To Haves

CPA certification
Background in public accounting
Tax exposure or experience

Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, month-end close, and reconciliations
Manage corporate insurance, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting
Coordinate bonding and security requirements
Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain robust internal controls
Support construction-related accounting and job cost management
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Lead and mentor a team of 34 direct reports (team structure may evolve)
Collaborate closely with leadership to provide insight into financial performance
