Coming Soon! Holman has an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join the team at Porsche North Miami and play a key role in our grand opening, coming early 2026.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 5-7+ years of dealership accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, dealership operations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels, manufacturers, vendors, and occasionally government officials.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement while applying established methods and procedures to meet operational goals.
  • Proven leadership skills to supervise, coach, mentor, and objectively evaluate team members and external partners.
  • Experience in developing and reporting on business objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and adapting to strategies to changing market conditions.
  • Capability to collaborate with financial teams to review and track construction costs.
  • Strong ability to partner with manufacturers to implement, monitor, and report on programs.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and process improvement across diverse operational areas.
  • Advanced analytical skills to assess complex situations, interpret data, and determine appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the general ledger, including reconciliation, issue recognition, investigation, and reporting to executive leadership.
  • Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets and financial reports.
  • Lead and supervise the accounting office team (AP, AR, and general accounting).
  • Develop, consolidate, and interpret accurate financial statements in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and internal controls.
  • Manage monthly and year-end closings and special projects.
  • Collaborate across departments for operational and accounting alignment.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor accounting staff.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
