About The Position
Youthnet is a nonprofit agency committed to serving children, youth and families. Most of our programs revolve around foster care services for children and youth, but we also partner with and support families in need. Ultimately, we are working together to create opportunities for healing from the past and promoting hope for the future. Youthnet is proud to serve children, youth and families in 15 counties across Washington State. As our organization continues to grow, we are currently seeking an experienced and mission-driven Controller to join our team in Mount Vernon, Washington. This is a full-time, in office role that plays a key part in overseeing the financial operations of our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will bring both hands-on accounting expertise and leadership experience to help ensure strong fiscal management and compliance with government contracts, particularly state funding. The Controller oversees all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and cash management, financial reporting and internal controls. This position also plays a key role in budget management, grant compliance and financial strategy. The Controller will provide mentorship and support to the finance team. Could evolve to a hybrid work schedule. Currently YouthNet does not receive federal funding and does not require a Single Audit.
