About The Position

The position involves conducting financial analysis and managing financial controlling processes and resources for the assigned operating unit, department, or team. The role is crucial in providing accurate financial data to support management in achieving objectives related to efficiency, cost control, and profitability. The individual will be responsible for preparing financial reports, budget forecasts, and assisting in the monthly and yearly closing processes. Additionally, the role includes reviewing financial data to ensure its fairness and completeness, contributing to the design and management of the budget control process, and developing effective financial planning and control systems.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares financial analysis, reports, and budget forecasts.
  • Assists in the company’s monthly and yearly closing processes.
  • Reviews financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness.
  • Contributes to the design and management of the budget/control process.
  • Develops the year plan/budget and/or strategy for the operating unit/department/team.
  • Ensures the development, implementation, and use of an effective system for financial-economical planning and control.
  • Prevents inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems.
  • Selects, develops, and assesses the suitability of controlling standards, processes, formats, and frequency of financial controlling and information collection.
  • Responds to management queries in relation to the financial control environment.
  • Validates and provides insight into the reasons for gaps between achievements and budget forecasts.
  • Recommends corrective measures.
