This role is pivotal in overseeing the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance, financial controls, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will inspire and develop their team while creating an environment of continuous improvement to support the company's strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years of general construction accounting experience.
• CPA Certification preferred but not required.
• Advanced experience in Excel and proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with software integrations/migrations/implementations.
• Familiarity with project forecasting means and methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring their performance and development.
• Inspire team members to deliver high-quality results through training and mentorship.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure appropriate internal controls.
• Ensure reliability and timeliness of financial reports and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Assist operations personnel on project audits and manage tax reporting activities.
• Monitor cash balances and maintain a cash forecasting tool.
