About The Position

Maytronics, the leading innovator in pool cleaning technology, is in search of a talented Controller to lead financial accounting activities and decisions by ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for our North America B2B Business Unit. This position will monitor general ledger, accounts receivable, financial statement reporting for the B2B business unit and provide support for external audit and ISOX for the consolidated North America Group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate and / or public accounting
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS preferred)
  • Strong bias for action and proven ability to meet commitments
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability as “hands on” financial leader

  • Advanced degree and / or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare internal financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) on timely basis for B2B business unit.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISOX, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage journal entries and general accounting and financial operations including monthly close.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for business unit.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures aligned with corporate accounting.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against Budget and prior year results.
  • Support balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
  • Manage company accounts receivable.
  • Support external and internal audits.
  • Support ISOX compliance efforts.
  • Leverage financial systems to streamline operations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support monthly business review presentations and quarterly Board Meeting presentations.
  • Develop performance goals for direct reports and closely monitor to ensure accountability.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing professional education.
