The main purpose of the Controlled Substance Administrator's position is to review, pick and pack-controlled substances sales orders as well as maintain records and inventory in accordance with DEA regulations. The location is based in Texas. The position is onsite.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in quality control.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Detail oriented with a strong customer focus.
  • Excellent communication skills required; fluent English (oral & written).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/Vintara is an asset.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of DEA is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/Vintara is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Orders for Controlled Substances
  • Perform due diligence to authenticate controlled substance orders.
  • Conduct any phone calls or investigations as needed.
  • Pick and Pack orders per shipping procedures.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork for each customer is up to date.
  • Ensure that DEA license and state license on file are current.
  • Inventory Management
  • Perform Cycle Counts and other required inventory.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory and investigate discrepancies.
  • Oversee inventory and receipt of Supply Chain Transfers.
  • Prepare inventory reports as needed for DEA submission.
  • Other tasks
  • Oversee and maintain accurate records and filing in accordance with DEA regulations.
  • Maintain ARCOS in accordance with DEA regulations.
  • Assist in DEA audits when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
