About The Position
Phoenix Systems is expanding and is in search of a skilled Audio/Video installation technician who holds Control4 certification(s) to become a part of our dynamic team. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, personable, and possess strong character traits. A passion for custom electronics and installation is essential, as is a commitment to delivering world-class service to our high-end clientele. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the service, installation, and activation of various systems including security systems, surround sound systems, and advanced lighting controls, all of which require Control4 automation and programming. In this role, you will communicate directly with customers to review work orders and address any questions they may have in a professional manner. You will also be responsible for instructing and training customers on the operation and functions of their systems. A deep understanding of security systems, including their operation, functions, and wiring requirements, is crucial. You will handle after-hours emergency service calls on a rotational basis and will be expected to create and edit Control4 IR Drivers. Additionally, you will need to have the tools and experience necessary to terminate multimode fiber ends and calibrate advanced projectors and receivers for optimal performance. The position requires the ability to think independently and resolve technical issues as they arise. You will also be expected to perform the duties of Trim Tech II/III and A/V Security Technician II as needed. Other responsibilities may be assigned as required.
