About The Position
Phoenix Systems is expanding and is in search of a skilled Audio/Video installation technician who holds Control4 certification(s) to become a part of our dynamic team. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, personable, and possess strong character traits. A passion for custom electronics and installation is essential, as is a commitment to delivering world-class service to our high-end clientele. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the service, installation, and activation of various systems including security systems, surround sound systems, system components, speakers, TV mounts, remote controls, shades and screens, advanced lighting controls, and systems that require Control4 automation and programming. In this role, you will communicate directly with customers to review work orders and address any questions they may have in a professional manner. You will also be responsible for instructing and training customers on the operation and functions of their systems. A deep understanding of security systems, including their operation, functions, and wiring requirements, is crucial. You will handle after-hours emergency service calls on a rotational basis and will be expected to create and edit Control4 IR Drivers. Additionally, you should have the ability to install and program shades and screens, as well as the knowledge to calibrate advanced projectors and receivers for optimal audio and video performance. The position requires independent problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues as they arise. You will also be expected to perform duties associated with Trim Tech II/III and A/V Security Technician II roles as needed. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary, and you will need to maintain a clean and unobtrusive work environment while working independently to complete assignments within standard accepted practices.
