About The Position

Industrial Valve Sales and Service is seeking a talented Control Valve Technician for their location in Bastrop, LA. The role will involve Shop & Field work on Control Valve repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred)
• Job specific degree and/or certification (preferred)
• Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred)
• 5 years or more control valve industrial experience

Responsibilities

• Follows safety and quality procedures
• Must be able to read measuring/scaling devices
• Control Valve Tech responsibilities
• Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components
• Support Control Valve Tech by mentoring
• Operate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.)
• Enjoy doing mechanical work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain equipment in area, as required
• May be required to help in field assignments
• Required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
• Must be able to operate motor vehicle
• Must have a safety awareness in the industrial workplace
• Must be able to document and enter job data
