About The Position

The position involves following ValvKeep and Quality Standardization Procedures for all aspects of the valve repair process. The candidate will be familiar with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and will need to recognize contaminated valves and missing parts. The role requires learning valve repair according to company standards and using the BH MARC Channel Connect. The candidate will also undergo introductory learning of various shop equipment such as test stands and machining equipment, and will be ready for manufacturer training.

Requirements

  • HS Education or GED Equivalent
  • 1 year of industry experience
  • Safety and quality-minded
  • Recognize control valve components
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Successful completion of Masoneilan Valve University Levels 101-103
  • Successful completion of all applicable Quality Standardization Procedures
  • Completed MARC I certification
  • Successful completion of Control Valve Level I Written and Performance Tests
  • Some prior control valve experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency of disassembly, lapping, testing, applicable codes and standards
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills, basic mathematical skills, and ability to use measurement equipment
  • Basic OSHA and TWIC card (TWIC, only if required)
  • Basic oral & written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers as a representative of the company
  • Demonstrated understanding of the field job process
  • Demonstrated 'can do' attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Close Supervision Required
  • Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
  • Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening

Responsibilities

  • Follow ValvKeep and Quality Standardization Procedures for all aspects of the valve repair process
