The position involves tracking and tracing all shipments, ensuring that all milestones are met within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role requires collaboration with origin and destination offices to resolve any issues that arise, adherence to Client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows, and monitoring compliance. Building relationships with gateways, operational, and warehouse teams is essential to ensure that SOPs and process flows are followed for all inbound and outbound shipments. The position also involves working alongside gateway teams to establish relationships with airlines handling high volume lanes. Travel may be necessary to meet SEKO offices, customer offices, and customers to establish and maintain systems and procedures. The role oversees communications with clients, ensuring that all communication flows from the client to the control tower and internal team members. Additionally, the position requires identifying areas of the customer's business that require escalation to IT teams, internal operations, and management or account sponsors for resolution or development. Day-to-day operations will utilize three operating systems: SEKO Operational System, SEKO eCommerce Operating System, and the Client's Operating System. The SEKO Operational System will be used for shipment creation and invoicing, while the SEKO eCommerce Operating System will be the main operating system for data entry of new shipments, ATA/ATD, reviewing and closing MAWB manifests, and troubleshooting. The Client system will be used to raise cases for any issues that arise during daily operations. The role also includes producing manual daily transit reports, tracking and tracing, agreeing on daily volume reports, completing daily level delay reports shared by the client, and participating in account management reviews and team meetings. The position serves as a liaison for the US Branch office in relation to supply chain systems and business processes and participates in the development of a safe and healthy workplace, complying with safety instructions and cooperating with management in fulfilling legislative obligations.
