What You Will Do Diagnose and resolve complex automation and control system issues (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives) Troubleshoot electrical systems, sensors, safety circuits, and industrial networks Support PLC and HMI updates, debugging, and system improvements Work with SCADA systems (Ignition) for monitoring, alarms, and data integration Lead technical support during equipment installation, startup, and commissioning Analyze recurring issues and implement long-term corrective solutions Collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize automated processes Help drive continuous improvement and system reliability across production

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–6 years of experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing systems
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, HMIs, motion systems, and robotics interfaces
  • Knowledge of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, etc.)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot independently in fast-paced environments
  • A mindset focused on problem-solving, ownership, and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves
