We are looking for a Control Technician to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to FIT Manager and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant work experience is required – technical background experience
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently in a high pressure environment
  • Demonstrated self-initiative and sound judgment
  • A team player who exhibits a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization as the customer advocate in a verbal and written manner
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • 24/7 operations in rotating shift schedule
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift
  • Occasionally lift/carry up to 25–50 lbs
  • Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift
  • Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
  • Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots).

Responsibilities

  • Remote monitoring of deployed fleet of units
  • Remote monitoring of units in final customer testing
  • Work with India remote monitoring team for shift to shift operations
  • Respond to system alarms to perform initial system actions
  • Safely control customer units while optimizing performance
  • Support Field Service Engineer during troubleshooting efforts
  • Analyze and identify root cause of system inefficiencies or failure
  • Assist in driving corrective action for system issues
  • Monitor customer fleet gas composition
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisor and support issue resolution
  • Works closely with customers, technical support and engineering to resolve problems requiring escalation
