Key Responsibilities Design and configure control panels, HMIs, and control system databases Develop electrical schematics, system architecture drawings, and technical specifications Support proposal development, engineering execution, and customer discussions Translate contract requirements into technical and engineering deliverables Prepare RFQs and procurement/engineering packages Support manufacturing vendors with build-to-print control panels Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), system checkouts, I/O testing, and troubleshooting Provide remote and occasional on-site support, commissioning, and training Interface and perform integration testing with other control systems (OPC / OPC-UA preferred) Travel approximately 10%, including occasional overnight trips Engineer II / III level with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience Experience with DCS and/or PLC-based control systems Strong background in control panel design, electrical schematics, I/O assignments, and applicable codes and standards (UL, NEC, NFPA, IEC, etc.) Experience with EPLAN (preferred), AutoCAD Electrical, or similar database-driven design tools Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls) Exposure to Mitsubishi DCS systems is a plus (training available) Experience with control system retrofits, OT network architecture, and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443) is a plus Programming or scripting experience (e.g., C#, VB.NET) helpful but not required
