About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Control Systems Instrument Technicians for projects located in and around Lathrop, CA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $35-40/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope: Installation, configuration, calibration, troubleshooting, & maintenance of instrumentation & control systems Support groundwater treatment operations Work with complex process monitoring systems, SCADA Integrated controls and specialized analyzers used in environmental remediation & water quality management Work with ultrasonic level transmitters, transit time and doppler flow meters, pressure and differential pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, etc. Interpret & modify PLC programs primarily allenbradley and schneider electric platforms to support system upgrades and diagnostics Maintain and troubleshooting networked control systems including ethernet/IP and modbus TCP protocols Bend & install conduit Pull wire and terminate electrical connections in accordance with NFC standards Safely connect, disconnect, & tag out equipment and circuits for testing or repair Apply mechanical knowledge to support the installation, maintenance, & repair of pumps, valves, actuators, & other process equipment Assist with alignment, lubrication, and mechanical troubleshooting of rotating equipment Support startup and shutdown procedures for GWTPS in accordance with SOPS Conduct firmware updates and calibrations on VFDS, HMIS, & telemetry units Comply with site specific protocols and maintain safe working conditions at all times Maintain calibration records, loop test certifications, & inspection forms per regulatory and internal QA/QC standards Document work activities, system changes, & safety observations in alignment with groundwater treatment systems Coordinate with operations engineering and environmental teams to resolve system issues and implement upgrades Maintain radio and.or phone contact with site personnel Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, & PIDS
  • Experience with SCADA systems, PLC programming, & Industrial Instrumentation
  • Familiarity with Ground Water Remediation Technologies including AIRS

Responsibilities
