Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking to fill a control engineering internship position to support the engineering needs of the System Monitoring, Diagnostics, and Controls (SDC) Section of the Operations Technical Services Department which provides engineering services to support the efficient and reliable operation of power plants and water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants with the following key objectives: Provide actionable intelligence to support efficient and reliable operations utilizing advanced data analytics and predictive maintenance technologies Identify continuous improvement opportunities through effective root cause analysis and system optimization programs Control System Engineering services to support the full lifecycle of our control system assets In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and projects to support the operational needs of the organization.
