Marotta is seeking enthusiastic students for its Summer 2025 engineering internship program, specifically for the role of Control Systems Engineering Intern. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience that combines hands-on work, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Interns will work closely with Marotta team members to complete a summer project, which they will have the unique opportunity to present to senior leadership at the end of the internship. This program is designed to help interns apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting while developing their skills in a supportive environment. The internship spans 10 weeks and is available across various engineering teams within the company, including design, manufacturing, operations, and systems. Interns will engage in a variety of tasks, including analyzing and performing control system simulations and modeling in MATLAB, managing requirements using IBM DOORS, and ensuring the accuracy of engineering documents. The role requires effective communication of technical and scheduling issues to relevant personnel and adherence to company and industry standards. Interns must be able to work full-time, onsite for a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks starting in June 2025. This position not only provides valuable work experience but also allows interns to network with peers and employees through optional engagement and voluntary events.
