As a Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by applying a variety of control technologies, including AC/DC motion control, digital and analog systems, interactive operator/machine interface, data acquisition, PID and PLC control, systems integration, and systems commissioning in support of roofing granule manufacturing. You will manage several program formats specific to our location, including applicable change processes and procedures. The role involves in-plant work and support of Plant Engineering crafts-persons for resolution of controls issues and implementation of improvement initiatives, managing the calibration program and energy reduction program, and coordinating work activities with local and remote Information Technology support resources. Additionally, you will coordinate and support capital project work activities with company Project Engineering resources and actively participate in plant Safety, Health, Environmental and Six Sigma Lean processes.
