About The Position

At KNAPP, we offer intelligent solutions for digitizing and automating everything from production and distribution to the last mile and stores. This position involves preparing projects, creating and maintaining commissioning documentation, executing factory tests, and providing support to customers and other commissioners. On-site responsibilities include testing and verifying functionality of electrical control cabinets, monitoring compliance with safety guidelines, managing daily work processes, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. The role also includes training customer and maintenance teams, correcting electrical schematics, and supporting the development of new products.

Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare projects
  • Create, maintain, and improve commissioning documentation
  • Prepare and execute factory tests
  • Provide support to the customers and other commissioners
  • Test and verify functionality of electrical control cabinets
  • Monitor compliance with safety guidelines and regulations
  • Verify and accept pre-assembled subsystems
  • Manage daily work processes
  • Install, configure, and commission various subsystems on-site
  • Provide electrical support and installation as needed on-site
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Train Customer and maintenance teams
  • Correct electrical schematics of the installation based on the final installation on-site
  • Support development of new products, when applicable
  • Support hotline on-site
  • Provide remote hotline support to existing customers
  • Ensure that safety requirements are followed properly at the jobsite
  • Coordinate daily job duties at the jobsite with all involved parties, the Customer and internal departments
  • Recognize feedback given/received and potential for improvement
