We are seeking a reliable Control Systems Assembler to join our Elevator Controls team at Vantage Elevation. You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering quality, safety, and reliability across our operations by assembling and testing elevator control systems used in the field every day. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in electronics or a related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in electrical assembly, control panel wiring, or related manufacturing roles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Understanding of basic electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assembling and wiring elevator control panels, sub-assemblies, and components according to engineering drawings and schematics
  • Performing mechanical assembly tasks such as mounting hardware, crimping, soldering, and wire routing
  • Testing assembled units using diagnostic tools and standard procedures to ensure proper functionality
  • Troubleshooting and correcting wiring, assembly, and functional issues
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of assembly processes, inspections, and test results
  • Following safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
  • Collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S and lean manufacturing principles
