Rolls-Royce is looking for a Control System Safety Engineer to join their growing team in Indianapolis, IN. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on flagship Rolls-Royce programs, solving complex technological challenges as part of a global, multi-disciplinary team. The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Safety Cases for Electronic Engine Control and Monitoring Systems, ensuring the design is single fault tolerant and meets engine functional hazard rates and all applicable certification requirements. The position involves providing technical guidance, counsel, and direction to a small team of engineers, collaborating with a global engineering community to identify areas for collaboration and knowledge exchange, and supporting full life cycle development while mentoring junior engineers.
