About The Position

As a Control System Platforms & Standards intern, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of technical products and systems. You will report to the Control & Information System Engineering Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid full-time hybrid summer position.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, nuclear, or computer engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Complete Sophomore year of college
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Design, document and test l&C Plant Systems used for Nuclear Power Generation Stations applications
• Implement l&C hardware and software designs to meet design specifications
• Develop design documents, test plans and procedures to demonstrate that designs meet design specifications and requirements
• Create and issue Field Change Notices to site to support hardware and software modifications
• Resolve technical issues that arise during system design, implementation and site commissioning/startup
• Support manufacturing operations to facilitate procurement, manufacturing process, testing and integration of l&C Plant Systems during Software In-Loop and Factory Acceptance Testing
• Support field operations during site commissioning and startup activities
• Work with Supply Chain Management, manufacturing, outside vendors and other departments impacted by l&C Plant systems design & development
