About The Position

Operates the processes by which raw materials is cooked and processed into a high quality product for sale. This is accomplished by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Starts the conveyance system to bring raw materials in to the process area.. Observes pressure, temperature, and meters on the panel to verify specified operation of automatic and manual systems, and regulators. Turns and adjusts controls to set specified feed of materials during different stages of the process. Observes gauges and dials to detect malfunctions and makes repairs, or reports a malfunction for repair. Maintains log of meter and gauge readings and records data to help maintain high quality finished products.

Requirements

• Must Have 3 months of work history with one employer within the last two years listed on the application.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
