Incorporating state-of-the-art technology, the Lockport Cogeneration Facility harnesses the potential of three GE Frame 6B combustion turbine generators (CTGs), which work in tandem with three heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and a steam turbine generator (STG). This dynamic synergy empowers the facility to produce a reliable 198 megawatts (MW) of electricity and an impressive 315,800 pounds per hour of process steam. Remarkably, it operates seamlessly year-round as a steadfast base load provider, consistently meeting the host facility's demands for both electricity and steam. Opportunity Summary The Control Room Operator (CRO) is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis. The CRO ensures that alarms and upset conditions are properly cleared and reported by taking appropriate corrective actions and ensures that the plant meets its generating requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner.
