About The Position

Review production schedule for upcoming orders and align for optimal running (Including stack height). IP uses Axiom Software, Communicate special instruction requirements order to orde, Communicate changes in schedule to wet end and support personnel, Coordinate/advise activities of both wet and dry end activities, Ensure maximum up-time by monitoring all processes (Constant improvement process), Monitor and control machine speeds for optimum performance and quality, Complete required Quality Inspections: Pin Adhesion Board Soaks ECT Testing Monitor all programs and COPAR before the run ensuring optimum settings are applied: Glue Gaps Heat Settings Sync Splices Dry End Monitors Operate, diagnose and react to all warnings, errors and or faults associated with dry end equipment, Know how to schedule shortages, make ups and insert orders for production, Know how to initialize Fosber and Copar queues, Ability to properly analyze and adjust for quality defects, Perform operator level PM and cleanup activities on all dry end components Shear / Slitter / Length Knife / Stackers, Participate in all Continuous Improvement activities as they relate to safety, quality and production, Communicate mechanical issues with shift supervisor, Operator must wear all required personal protective equipment, Operator must follow all company safety rules/procedures, Operator must keep work areas and surrounding areas clean and free of debris

Requirements

  • Computer Skills working with Multiple PC Stations
  • Ability to quickly learn various software
  • Ability to communicate with Plant Scheduler to optimize the schedulec
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a corrugator industry is a plus
