The Control Room Operator I Production position is a full-time role that involves remote oil system monitoring and troubleshooting, production coordination, security surveillance, and emergency response capability. The operator will work under general supervision and is responsible for ensuring safe and professional operations in accordance with company and industry standards. Key duties include monitoring production pad tank levels, evaluating oil production, coordinating with various teams, and communicating with emergency services as needed. The role also involves learning to perform incident investigations and providing daily gas projections to supervisors.

  • Provide everyday (24/7) remote oil system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor production pad tank levels and evaluate oil production.
  • Work with the Water group and/or trucking companies to dispatch and schedule trucks.
  • Act as the central point of contact between Water, Midstream, and Marketing.
  • Communicate scheduled and unscheduled well downtime.
  • Dispatch contractors and company personnel as required.
  • Learn to perform initial incident investigations on process upsets.
  • Document and report field incidents immediately.
  • Provide daily gas projections to supervisors as needed.
  • Complete required Incident Command System (ICS) training.
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out log for operations.
  • Coordinate with contractors regarding road maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn and understand well pad production systems.
  • Basic understanding of Cygnet, SCADA, EAM, and OSI PI systems.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
