To assemble mechanical and electrical elements of a control panel and/or oil minder including but not limited to floats, probes, heater elements, circuitry, voltage wiring, enclosures, PLCs, VFDs, and similar components. Utilize assembly tools such as electrical meters, wrenches, torques, screwdrivers, electric drill, hacksaw, saw saw and similar tools. Inspect electrical wiring and controls using precision electrical instrumentation including volt-ohm meters and other electrical instrumentation. Interpret manuals, electrical wiring schematics and similar documentation, translating them into proper assembly procedures and methods. Assist with testing performance of completed panels or oil minder product to quality standards. Give feedback to the production manager for planning of production schedule. Provide technical information to Sales, Engineering and Quality on the performance of the product and potential areas for improvement. Work with all functional disciplines in the organization to facilitate meeting production requirements. Participate in companywide continuous improvement and similar quality efforts to help grow the operation. Able to perform daily work safely with full consideration for fellow employees and in full compliance with OSHA safety standards.
