About The Position
The H GK KEAHOLE, MAINTENANCE Department of the H GENERATION Division at Hawaiian Electric Company has 1 Bargaining Unit vacancy available. (Role: Non-Exempt) The position involves performing predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on all pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation and control systems. A Control Mechanic at the maximum level performs various duties including installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting component parts of control systems for steam, hydro, diesel, or combustion turbine generation units. The role also includes fabricating panels and brackets, assisting in the installation and maintenance of control system software and hardware, and using test equipment to troubleshoot system problems. The position requires collaboration with other trades and departments and may involve emergency management roles as assigned.
