Control Center Operator
About The Position
A Control Center Operator is responsible for monitoring and coordinating electric system operations, dispatching field crews, and maintaining accurate logs. Operates SCADA systems, documents outages, ensures compliance with regulations, and supports emergency procedures. Acts as the communication link between control center and field personnel to maintain reliable service. Effective communication, critical thinking, organization, and in-person presence at TCEC headquarters/territory are essential. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of power utility system components preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of load management, radio, telecommunications equipment, and SCADA systems is a plus. Applications will be accepted beginning January 12th thru January 16th.
