Exostar is looking for part-time assistance to manage customer contracts and procurement agreements. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement and contract lifecycle. This includes creating, negotiating, executing, and monitoring contracts with vendors and customers to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The role involves negotiating contract terms, managing contract compliance, and resolving any disputes in collaboration with the Vice President of Legal and Contracts. The goal is to ensure the organization sells its solutions according to company policy and acquires goods and services at the best possible price and quality.

  • Drafting and reviewing responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and purchase orders based on departmental needs.
  • Developing/revising contract terms and conditions, including pricing structures, payment terms, delivery schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Negotiating contract details with customers and vendors to achieve the best possible terms for the organization.
  • Addressing any concerns or discrepancies raised by the counterparty during the negotiation process.
  • Securing favorable pricing and contractual obligations.
  • Monitoring contract compliance by tracking vendor performance against agreed-upon terms and conditions.
  • Managing contract amendments and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
  • Resolving contract disputes and addressing any issues that arise with vendors and customers.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and contract law
  • Over 2 years of experience in contracts or procurement
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in contract management software and procurement systems
  • Prior experience in a procurement or contract management role within a company or organization.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements in one or more highly regulated industry is a plus.
