About The Position

Our expert team delivers Accounting & Finance, Contracts, Procurement & Pricing, Human Resources & Recruiting, and Strategic Advisory services to help our government contractor clients succeed in this dynamic and competitive landscape. We are seeking a talented Contracts & Pricing Consultant to join our client-facing team. In this role, you'll provide strategic and tactical support throughout the entire contract life cycle while delivering expert cost and pricing guidance to multiple clients, including established government contractors and commercial companies entering the GovCon arena.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of work experience, or Associates Degree with 10 years of work experience, or CFCM with 10 years of experience. Experience must include:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of full contract life cycle management experience in federal government contracting
  • Minimum of 5+ years of federal government proposal and modification estimating/pricing experience.
  • Must have on-point experience in performance cost and price analysis
  • Strong knowledge of GovCon, FAR, DFAR, SBA, DCAA requirements, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation abilities
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, with strong accountability
  • Strong presentation, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to lead client engagements and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Security clearance is NOT required.
  • Ability to travel within the United States, up to 20% of the time.

  • CPCM certification
  • Experience with both government contractors and commercial companies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer diverse contract types, including OTAs, CPFF/CPAF/CPIF, FFP, FPAF, T&M, LH, IDIQ, BPA, and BOAs, (pre- and post-award).
  • Lead external customer liaison activities, including meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on competitive contracts, sole source awards, and directed prime/subcontract customer awards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage cradle-to-grave contract administration support.
  • Facilitate negotiations for proposals, contract modifications, and agreements.
  • Proactively identify and address potential non-compliance issues.
  • Coordinate agreements and supporting documentation across departments.
  • Maintain accurate contract information in the contracts database.
  • Track contractual documentation and action items.
  • Conduct detailed review of subcontractor cost proposals.
  • Perform direct cost element analysis (labor, materials, ODCs).
  • Evaluate and validate Indirect cost rates and escalation factors
  • Conduct cost realism analysis and risk assessments
  • Perform competition analysis and documentation for purchasing/subcontracting compliance
  • Evaluate commercial pricing evaluation when applicable
  • Determine price reasonableness
  • Prepare compliant responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications
  • Review client inputs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Build pricing volumes in accordance with solicitation requirements.
  • Assist in negotiations related to pricing.
  • Interface with DCAA as needed and provide audit support.
  • Perform analysis on competitive costing and price trends.
