About The Position

This role involves managing acquisitions of varying complexity within the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. The position reports to the Aviation Contracts and Material Manager and includes key responsibilities such as preparing contract and solicitation documents, advising departmental divisions on procurement processes, and providing technical expertise on appropriate procurement methods, service scopes, market research, evaluation criteria, and contract-specific language. Additionally, the role entails conducting industry and product market research, including issuing Requests for Information to identify alternative sources of supply.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• One year of experience in contract negotiation, preparation, and administration
• Additional related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis
