About The Position

To provide day-to-day life-cycle management of the company's Contracts, which include US Government contracts for all divisions of the company. Helps develop and enforce company and departmental procedures relating to contract compliance and business administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and at least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in government contracts, grants, subcontracts, and procurement management, including some experience in the management of complex multi-year, IDIQ, T&M, CPFF, and FFP contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing, problem-solving, and multitasking under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with little supervision.
  • Leading negotiations with subcontractors, including but not limited to terms and conditions, price, and schedule
  • Knowledge of the FAR and other agency supplements
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to identify areas of risks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels
  • Highly adaptable to change; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Gov.-approved procurement systems with CPSR experience is desired.
  • Experience working with ERP Systems

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers in program execution while ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Supports proposal activities, including review of contractual terms and conditions, completion and negotiation of NDAs/TAs, and completion of compliance requirements.
  • Develop relationships with both contracting officers and subcontractors.
  • In coordination with the Procurement Department, leads the subcontracting and procurement activities under prime contracts by developing solicitations, negotiating terms/prices, and executing subcontracts during the program lifecycle. Documents in the contract file include allocability, allowability, and reasonableness of costs and other compliance requirements.
  • Develops and prepares complex routine internal and external communications.
  • Produces or contributes to the production of client and/or internal financial reports, including pipeline analyses, funding projections, and analyses, contract backlog, etc.
  • Performs additional duties, including special projects, as required.
