About The Position

The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s aviation‑related contracts. This role ensures that leases, service agreements, financing documents, and related commercial contracts are accurately drafted, properly executed, well‑maintained, and administered in full compliance with legal and operational requirements. The Contracts Manager serves as the primary coordination point between Legal, Finance, Commercial, and Technical teams for contract‑related matters.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a contract management role, with legal and/or aviation industry knowledge/experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing and managing projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to show initiative and be forward thinking.
  • Be a strong team player with ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in and outside the organization.
  • Embrace strong relationships while engaging with airlines, aircraft manufacturers as well as law and accounting firms.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); prior
  • experience with contract database or management software helpful.
  • Fluent in English; we are in an international business and languages other than English are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, Negotiation & Documentation
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contract language across a range of aviation and commercial agreements.
  • Work with the General Counsel to develop, standardize, and refine contract templates and legal correspondence.
  • Oversee preparation, assembly, and distribution of closing deliverables to internal and external parties for smooth and timely completion of transactions.
  • Document financial obligations, payment terms, and milestone requirements clearly and accurately.
  • Contract & Lease Administration
  • Manage the full lifecycle of aircraft, engine, and APU leases, including tracking key dates, monitoring obligations, and overseeing renewals, extensions, expirations, purchase options, and rent adjustments.
  • Administer service agreements, maintenance reserve arrangements, and other aviation‑related commercial contracts.
  • Maintain organized and current contract records, including amendments, side letters, and supporting documents, within the company’s contract management systems.
  • Ensure document accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness in accordance with company standards.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract intake, questions, and guidance across Legal, Finance, Commercial, and Technical teams.
  • Support intercompany financing transactions by coordinating internal approvals and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Partner with operational and technical teams during aircraft and engine deliveries, transitions, and returns to ensure compliance with contractual and procedural requirements.
  • Facilitate efficient communication between departments to resolve contract‑related issues.
  • Compliance & Due Diligence
  • Monitor compliance with contractual terms and internal policies throughout each contract’s term.
  • Conduct customer and counterparty due diligence, including KYC and compliance screening.
  • Support asset return processes by coordinating with stakeholders to ensure adherence to contractual, operational, and financial requirements.
