I2X Technologies is seeking a Contract Manager to support ongoing activities at our corporate office in Littleton, CO. This position will be onsite. Serve as a member of the leadership team, providing strategic guidance on contractual risk, compliance, and execution across the organization. Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of Contract Administrators (2), ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant contract administration across all assigned programs. Manage the full contract lifecycle for both prime contracts and subcontracts, including proposal support, negotiations, award, administration, modifications, and closeout. Act as the primary contracts interface with U.S. Government customers, Prime contractors, and internal stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships while protecting company interests. Lead contract negotiations with government contracting officers, prime customers, and subcontractors, including terms and conditions, pricing structures, and flow-down requirements. Interpret, apply, and advise leadership on FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and contract-specific clauses to ensure organizational compliance and risk mitigation. Partner with Program Management, Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Executive Leadership to align contractual strategy with operational and financial objectives. Identify contractual risks and opportunities, provide clear recommendations, and proactively support issue resolution and change management. Support proposal development and capture efforts by reviewing solicitations, identifying contractual risks, and developing negotiation strategies and assumptions. Oversee subcontractor management, including subcontract formation, compliance with flow-down clauses, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Develop, refine, and maintain contracts policies, procedures, templates, and training to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization. Support audits, reviews, and customer inquiries related to contractual matters, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts Management, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in federal government contracting, including hands-on experience with both prime contracts and subcontracts.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts with U.S. Government customers and Prime contractors in a federal contracting environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other applicable federal acquisition regulations.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing contract administration staff.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced government services environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and recommend practical solutions.
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification such as CPCM, CFCM, or NCMA certification.
  • Experience supporting DoD contracts or large IDIQ vehicles.
  • Prior experience partnering with Business Development and Capture teams.
  • Experience in a growth-oriented or scaling federal contractor environment.
