The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related field
Ten or more years of relevant experience in government contract management
Thorough understanding of FAR, DFAR and other government laws and regulations
Research and analysis skills, with the ability to draft topic papers on short deadlines
This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Manages personnel in contract administration, ART proposal preparation, contract and IPA negotiation, memorandum of understanding/agreement coordination, and administration of Space Force, NRO and other DoD customers; assists the Contracts Director in managing department affairs.
Responsible for managing Aerospace Requirements Too (ART) Job Orders
Assists the Director in the management of the corporation’s contracts function; supervises and participates in ART proposal preparation/coordination and contract negotiation and administration.
Assists in the management of department staff: hiring, supervising, training, scheduling overtime, approving time off, managing performance objectives, initiating personnel actions and annual performance reviews of staff; plans, assigns and reviews the work of staff.
Provides guidance as required on matters relating to the interpretation of contractual obligations and risk mitigations; interprets and applies changes to contractual requirements and laws to contract pre- and post-award administration.
Provides leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills relevant to dealing with complex contractual and business issues.
Monitors acquisition regulations and industry publications and participates in professional association activities.
Maintains up-to-date understanding of FAR/DFARS and other applicable regulations.
Maintains liaison with other FFRDCs and government contractors and fosters excellent working relationships with internal/external customers; maintains strong interface with SAF/SQ RDMO office.
Supports in managing the Collocation, ART JOs, SPPE, COC and 3 PTS Pricing Plans; manages the Corporate Incurred Cost Claim each year.
Prepares quarterly PMRs with SAF/SQ as well as support annual Govt Tech Rep Briefings with Space Force.
Assists in establishing operating policies and procedures that affect department and subordinate sections and work units.
Interprets company-wide policies and procedures; assists in the development of budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
Interacts with internal and external management and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or contractual clarifications; may lead briefings and technical meetings of internal and external representatives.
Conducts contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications; monitors Contract Funding and Deliverables.
Tracks and monitor on weekly basis – NTEs, ART JOs, SPPE, Collocation, FWOs, International Travel, ODC purchases and other pertinent issues as they arise.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
(Min - Max) $127,100.00 - $190,600.00
