The Contracts Manager - SLED provides essential contract management support to the SLED Account Teams as assigned. The role of the Contract Manager is to ensure that SLED transactions are awarded in compliance with applicable law, regulation or policy, and in accordance with WWT's position/interest under the applicable government customer solicitation or its equivalent. The responsibilities of the Contract Manager primarily focus on Tactical Sales (Statement of Work and/or associated Purchase Orders), including the review of bid/proposal submissions for contract compliance, approval of corresponding awards, and post-award contract administration.

  • Assist, review and advise SLED Account Teams and Sales Support organizations on contract-related issues during bid submissions, including: deal structure and contract compliance guidance; appropriate internal stakeholder involvement
  • Ensure internal processes result in contractually compliant bid submissions
  • Review and approve high volume Purchase Order (PO) awards for both contractual accuracy and WWT’s position/interest; depending on level of experience assist/lead issue resolution to include risk assessment, inconsistent terms, agreement redline/negotiation with partners and customers.
  • Review for approval all contract administrative actions (e.g., POs, modifications, PoP extensions, closeouts, funding changes, option exercises, etc.)
  • Serve as WWT POC to Customer (external) for post-award contract administration issues; depending on level of experience assist/lead resolution of performance and compliance issues to include changes orders, equitable adjustments and related pricing disputes, contract close-out/reconciliation, etc.
  • Serve as internal POC for post-award contract management issues, in coordination with WWT Program Management Organization (PMO), risk, Finance and Legal departments as applicable, to include contract interpretation, contract funding, change orders and contract amendments, contract reporting, close out process, maintenance of contract files
  • Execute basic contract management functions, per contact requirements, to ensure managed using best practices to achieve optimum sales and past performance metrics in a compliant manner
  • Provide contracting/sales enablement guidance and advice across outside sales teams, including business development efforts
  • Participate, as requested by Contract, BD/Proposal and/or Sales leadership, in strategic business planning applicable to contract use
  • Support Sales and/or BD/Proposal Teams responsible for cooperative contract pursuit efforts (e.g. NASPO, Texas DIR, OMNIA, etc.)
  • Create and negotiate customer contract flowdowns for partner compliance
  • Create and maintain contract guides for Sales and Support team use
  • Draft, negotiate and finalize one-off subcontract agreements with new partners
  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field required, IT background strongly preferred
  • 5+ years experience in SLED state level and cooperative contract utilization, administration and compliance, including the following:
  • Capability to review and understand terms and conditions, analyze contract scope, and implement processes that ensure compliance with SLED contracts
  • Ability to monitor, coach and correct WWT internal and external sales teams’ actions to ensure compliance with contract
  • Ability to develop creative yes compliant strategies to maximize WWT sales/contract use in accordance with sales goals
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply government contracting law and regulation; developing SME on Federal/State competition rules, unique rules for IT/OEM licensing bids in SLED space, pricing regulations
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office) Salesforce; Oracle; Contract Lifecycle Management tools; AI tools
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform work in required time frames; ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner
  • Ability to make business decisions and assess risk using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, and applicable State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Sound interpersonal and conflict resolution skills for effective negotiation
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred
