General Atomics (GA), and its affiliated companies, is one of the world's leading resources for high-technology systems development ranging from the nuclear fuel cycle to remotely piloted aircraft, airborne sensors, and advanced electric, electronic, wireless and laser technologies. This position is responsible for managing the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and on-going administration of assigned complex and diversified government/commercial contracts (both domestic and international), special agreements (e.g. confidentiality agreements, teaming agreements, sales representation agreements, cooperative research and developmental agreements (CRADAs), and memorandum of understandings (MOUs). Manages all phases of the special agreements process and contract process from inception through completion including customer requirements review (e.g. statements of work (SOW), bid instructions, contract structure, and terms and conditions), proposal review, contract review and approving all contractual documents, to ensure protection of the company's contractual posture, satisfaction of contract requirements, identification of risk factors, and adherence to company policy, as well as appropriate laws and regulations. Typically accomplishes objectives through subordinate management and/or professional staff. May be responsible for decisions that have an extended and significant impact on outcomes across the company.
