About The Position

CACI's Spectrum Superiority Line of Business provides U.S. Government and Commercial Customers with Counter Unmanned Systems (C-UxS), Tactical Electronic Warfare, Signal Detection, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Secure Networking, and Tactical and Optical Communications differentiating expertise and technology. The Technology Contracts team is seeking a highly motivated Contracts Intern for the summer of 2026 to support all areas of contracts operations out of our Sterling, VA office. You must be available to work 100% on-site. At CACI, Contracts is a strategic business partner responsible for building lasting relationships and delivering balanced and equitable business arrangements which enable mission success. Within CACI, Contracts Managers are entrusted with building trust and respect with our acquisition customers. Contracts Managers serve as the official face of CACI performing negotiations and contract management duties in all phases of our Programs, from pre-award through the full development, production, and sustainment lifecycle. The Contracts function is a strategic partner to the Line with the ultimate aim to build lasting relationships and deliver balanced and equitable business deals ensuring the long term mutual success of the company and our customers. As a Contracts Intern you will gain experience and develop competencies in: Government Contracting Negotiation Skills Terms and Conditions Analysis Business Acumen Risk Analysis Program Management

Requirements

  • Must currently be enrolled as a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate Student
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Business or International Studies or related field is preferred, not required
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze reports, metrics, and presentations for senior leadership
  • Review terms and conditions associated with Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Contracts
  • Conduct Organizational Conflict of Interest screenings
  • Attend Program Reviews, Risk Reviews, and client meetings
  • Interface with senior CACI officials through designated intern events enrichment opportunities, and career development opportunities
  • Present a final intern presentation to CACI senior leaders
