We're seeking a diligent and diplomatic Contracts Assistant to join our team supporting the following Macmillan imprints: St. Martin's Publishing Group, Tor Publishing Group, Flatiron Books, Celadon Books, Henry Holt and Company, and Macmillan Audio. The Contracts Assistant will draft and negotiate a high volume of contracts and a variety of associated agreements for trade books; maintain contract data and contract archives; request contract signature payments; and track and interpret agreements. This is a great entry-level role to gain an overview of the business side of book publishing, working closely with editors and literary agents.
