About The Position

The Contracts and Inspection Coordinator works for the ARCHES Project Long-Term Rental Assistance (LTRA) program, serving an estimated 100 households receiving assistance. This position will conduct and monitor annual inspections, process income verifications, and assist with the completion of other annual renewal documentation necessary for continued assistance. This is a grant-funded position located at the ARCHES Project and is renewable based on the continuation of project funding.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of related social service experience.
  • Experience working with contracts is required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Driver qualifications are required for this position.
  • Valid driver license, insured vehicle available for use on the job, and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required
  • Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.
  • Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.
  • Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
  • Basic proficiencies in computers, and MS Office products, database software and web tools.
  • Must possess excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
  • Applicant must have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with inspections and NSPIRE requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts and monitors annual NSPIRE inspections for the units involved in the LTRA program.
  • Reviews action items from failed inspections and helps coordination of necessary improvements or repairs.
  • Assists with the intake and application system, including income verification and completion of other required documents.
  • Reviews necessary renewal documents to ensure continued assistance for qualifying clients.
  • Ensures compliance with LTRA contracts and assists clients with understanding their rights and responsibilities.
  • Attend events to educate Spanish speaking households about the services that they may be eligible for.
  • Maintains full compliance with all federal, state, and grant program and funding requirements, setting high standards for data quality and compliance performance, remaining in compliance with the regulations of all funding streams .
  • Works cooperatively with other ARCHES Project programming to ensure quality and timely client service delivery.
  • Complies with agency Quarterly and Annual reports.
  • Complies with all Agency policies, including finance and safety and health policies.
  • Attend and engage in required annual trainings.
  • Other Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance are essential requirements for this role.
  • Ability to work effectively and maintain positive, professional relationships with team members and clients.
