About The Position

The Contracts Analyst is an essential member of Boardwalk’s Legal Department, working with attorneys and internal clients on a wide variety of legal matters. Candidates must work well in a team environment. Representative duties include: Drafting and Reviewing: preparing and revising/redlining contracts and analyzing terms and conditions to identify potential risks for the company or compliance issues, e.g.: confidentiality agreements service agreements scope of work agreements purchase order terms and conditions purchase and sale agreements Negotiation: negotiating terms and conditions with contractors and suppliers to secure beneficial agreements Compliance: ensuring contracts meet legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal company policies Training: providing training on legal procedures, best practices, and company policies to internal stakeholders/clients Onboarding: assisting with contractor qualification and onboarding, as necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with contracts
  • Strong aptitude in reviewing and redlining contracts
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality principles and business relationships
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the construction, engineering, or pipeline industries is preferred
  • Familiarity with litigation process / management is preferred
  • Two-year applicable associate degree in a technical field or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Paralegal Certification

Responsibilities
