Requirements

  • Possesses comprehensive understanding and applies concepts within the field and related disciplines.
  • Ability to develop practical solutions to a range of complex problems. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.
  • Ability to exert some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Engages with senior personnel on significant matters.
  • TOP SECRET clearance
  • 5+ years of related government contracts management experiences and a bachelors or masters degree

Nice To Haves

  • Active TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance with poly and ability to maintain a US TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
  • Experience in Federal Government contract administration/management and negotiations, program management, or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
  • Prior government contracts management experience
  • Demonstrated experience of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to quickly comprehend issues at hand.
  • Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Perform contracts management functions that include activities associated with proposals, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.
  • Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.
  • Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance.
  • Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.
  • Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.
  • Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
  • May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company.
  • Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
